| OBJECTIVES | The objective of this course is to meet the training requirements of regulation V/1-1 of the STCW-78, as amended. It comprises a basic training program appropriate to their duties, including oil and chemical
tanker safety, fire safety measures and systems, pollution prevention, operational practice. |
| ENTRY STANDARDS | Masters, officers, ratings on board of oil and chemical tankers, assigned specific duties and responsibilities related to cargo and cargo equipment, cadets of marine colleges. |
| CERTIFICATION | Documentary evidence should be issued to those who have successfully completed this course indicating that the holder has successful completed training for basic training for oil and chemical tanker cargo operations. |
