OBJECTIVES On  meeting  the minimum  standard of competence  in advanced fire-fighting, a trainee will be competent to take command, organize and train fire parties and control fire-fighting operations.
ENTRY STANDARDS Masters, officers, cadets, ratings on board of merchant ships
CERTIFICATION Documentary evidence should be issued to those who have successfully completed  this course indicating that the holder has successful completed training for “Advanced Fire Fighting”

The maximum number of course attendees is 16
STAFF REQUIREMENTS The course is conducted by qualified instructors that hold a valid chief engineer’s licenses and have an adequate experience in this subject.  
FACILITIES & EQUIPMENT TRANSAS Simulator “TechSim ERS 5000”
TEACHING AIDS Fire  labyrinth,  smoke generator,  fire pump, fire extinguishers,  hoses, nozzles, BA, EEBD, fireman outfits and etc.
TEACHING METHOD Theory in a classroom, practical exercises at “AVANT” training ship
