SCOPE | This course aims to meet the mandatory minimum requirements for the training of masters, officers, ratings and other personnel on Ro-Ro passenger ships and on passenger ships prescribed by Regulation V/2 and specified in the STCW Code Sections A-V/2, B-V/2. |
OBJECTIVES | On completion of the training persons named above shall be familiar with crowd management, crisis management, embarking and disembarking passengers, loading, discharging or securing cargo, or closing hull openings on board of passenger ships |
ENTRY STANDARDS | masters, officers, ratings and other personnel on passenger ships |
CERTIFICATION | Documentary evidence should be issued to those who have successfully completed this course indicating that the holder has successful completed training for “Training of passenger ship personnel” |
STUDENT NUMBER LIMITATION | The maximum number of course attendees is 16 |
STAFF REQUIREMENTS | The course is conducted by qualified instructors that hold appropriate licenses and have an adequate experience in this subject. |
